Question for my readers?

Does anyone want me to do a list of Valentine’s Day movies?

I’m torn on this.  I’ve stated art has a very important place in spiritual and political life…but maybe not the movies I’d put on a Valentine’s Day list.  Unlike the Christmas movies (which has a spiritual and philosophical link to this blog’s purpose) and the Halloween movies (which I could tie to society’s fear of death)…there doesn’t seem to be anything deeper I can say about Valentine’s Day movies without getting overly pretentious (even for me) and really push it into a discussion of the nature of love and relationships (which seem to be really pushing it…).  But I will leave it up to the comment box on this post whether I do a list or not.

  1. Oh, and if you say yes…do you want a full blog on each movie or just a quick rap up of the whole list in one blog?

Cris, I think a list with commentary if it is a really great demonstration of love!

I don’t think it’s utterly necessary. It would be interesting to hear which Valentine’s-esque movies you enjoy (if any), but an extensive list may be a little much. It is JUST Valentine’s day. On the other hand, if you have the overwhelming urge to continue on your holiday movie list spree, feel free, they’ve been rather enjoyable thus far. Basically, if you want to do it, I’m sure we’d all love to follow it. If not, that’s perfectly alright, no incredibly huge loss.
