The 4th A Musical Look

Music can often say what words cannot. Hence this little collection…

Or from the film 1776…Ben, John and Thomas have another perspective. (The music doesn’t start until 2 minutes in).

Or as the great George M. Cohan might put it…

Let me just say I hate Country music. If it just disappeared I probably wouldn’t lose much sleep. But there is just something about unashamed patriotism that makes one forget how much you despise a genre. (The montage just makes me smile as well)

And of course

This has also the 4th of the 4 verses…here are the lyrics if you don’t know them…
O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation.
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust;”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
